Two major drugstore chains now sell more food than medicine — but what kind of food are they offering? Are they stocking shelves with healthy options, or are they loaded them up with fake food full of ultra-processed ingredients?

The national average is 30% of foods on offer are ultra-processed - which Drug Chain is the worst offender?

Well, there’s not much difference. Both CVS and Walgreens are selling a lot of products that are UPF. Both are approaching double the national average. Aren’t drug chains supposed to be a place to start improving your health? Maybe we should ask why they would sell products that studies have shown are tied to obesity and chronic disease? Don’t these executives have kids? Don’t they care about their family health?
