Why Stop At Artificial Colors AG Ken Paxton? Kellogg’s Products Contain A Lot More Than That
Apr 11, 2025
4/11/25 — Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is investigating whether WK Kellogg Co. is violating Texas consumer protection laws as the company claims and advertises that its breakfast cereals such as Frosted Flakes, Rice Krispies and many more are “healthy”. Specifically, Paxton is focused on artificial colorings, which is a good start. But why stop at just artificial colors? There are loads of other harmful ingredients in the Kellogg’s product line that should be on your radar as well, and we’d be happy to share our data with you to help push this type of thinking forward.
Banned/Unsafe Ingredients (14% of our foods)
Seed oils (34%)
Artificial preservatives (16%)
Emulsifiers (29%)
And way more…
Kellogg’s seems to be a leader in sketchy ingredients
Here are the facts based on WISEdata™:
25% of Kellogg’s products contains artificial colors
36% contains ingredients that are banned in other countries and/or known to harm humans

27% contains emulsifiers
56% contains seed oils (recent studies have linked connection to breast and colon cancer)

We are no longer helpless to determine whether our foods contain sketchy ingredients, and unfortunately for Kellogg’s, Paxton has a ripe target.
